weekly recap

Weekly Recap // 03/04 – 03/10

Away From The Blog:

I feel like this week went by too fast. I feel like I didn’t get anything done besides work. I hardly got any reading done, which I am ashamed of. I started two amazing books this week and I’m honestly about two chapters in for each book. Oops.

I’m really trying to get out of the house more. I’m wanting to take more bookish photos outdoors instead of just in front of my bookshelves. I just haven’t been feeling my content lately. Why is why I completely started my blog over. I wanted to make everything feel a bit more personal.

We went out and took a couple of pictures at the lake close to where I live. It’s honestly the cutest place to take photos and I highly recommend if you’re in the Lakeland area.

New Books This Week:

I totally got too many books this week. I’m planning on doing an unhaul soon so I don’t feel terrible about getting new books. I’m so very excited to get to add new books, but I’m equally excited to get rid of some books I know I’ll never get too. I’ll be doing a book unhaul post for you guys, so keep an eye out for that.

Kingdom of Ash and Briars by Hannah West
After I Do by Taylor Jenkins Reid
The Beast’s Heart by Leife Shallcross
Red Rising by Pierce Brown
Time and Time Again by Tamara Ireland Stone
The School for Good and Evil by Soman Chainani
The City Of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty
The Kingdom Of Copper by S.A. Chakraborty

This Week I Finished Reading:

Like I said earlier, I didn’t get much reading done at all. I only finished one book and I think it might have put me in a slump. I already miss reading this series.

Ruin And Rising by Leigh Bardugo: OMG this book. THIS FREAKING BOOK. I was really hoping for a not-so-happy ending but I’m okay with how it ended. I just really wanted more death at the end and not the death that happened!

Currently Reading:

The Priory Of The Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon
Something Like Gravity by Amber Smith (ARC)
