The Folk Of The Air Book Tag

Well, if you know me, you’ll know that I love The Cruel Prince and The Wicked King. I love me some Jude and Cardan. I was tagged by Kay over at Hammock Of Books. I knew I had to do this tag and it’s taken me a bit to get to it seeing as I have switched my blog over again. I never know what I want.

I’m still in the process of figuring out how I want my pictures to look and for them to match my theme. So, let’s just ignore that for right now.

Rules:

  • You must tag the original creator (Xandra @ Starry Sky Books)
  • Spoilers galore! You should probably read The Cruel Prince first! (You don’t really need to read The Wicked King, but that would be nice.)
  • Answer all the questions.
  • Try to tag at least 3 other bloggers.

JUDE: A Character Who Would Probably Kill You In Your Sleep

I’m already flunking this. I honestly haven’t read a lot of fantasy and I’m slowing catching up with it. I’m gonna have to say Jude. I know it’s a cheap answer but it’s all I’ve got right now. I feel like she would totally kill Cardan, especially after The Wicked King.

Cardan: A Character Who Seems Like A Bad Guy But Is Ultimately More Complex Than You Thought

Holland from A Darker Shade Of Magic. I knew there was much more to Holland. He was my favorite character in this series and I wanted the world for him, even though he’s technically one of the bad guys.

Locke: A Character (Or Plot Twist) That Made You Want To Throw The Book

As someone who knew absolutely nothing about the GrishaVerse or any of the other books that take place in this world, Ruin and Rising destroyed me. I honestly felt like a certain character would have made it seeing how gloomy Six Of Crows seems to be. I guess I’m just going to have to read it to figure out what else happened!

Taryn: A Character Who Deceived You

I’m gonna have to go with The Darkling. I was very convinced and I saw things I wanted to see and ignored everything else. He’s still my baby though.

Vivi: A Book That Was Significantly Different From The Others In It’s Series

I don’t have an answer for this one! I’ve tried to think of one and I just couldn’t!!

Valerian: A Character Who Just Needs To Die (Or, You Know, Get Stabbed)

Tamlin. I would personally love to stab him myself. Multiple times. In the face.

Oak: A Smol Character You Would Protect At All Costs

I know he’s not necessarily a “character” but he’s a creature. Abraxos from the Throne Of Glass series. He’s my beebee and I will love him forever <3

The Cruel Prince: A Book That Surprised You With A Twist

Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas. I was not expecting that twist and I’m still messed up about it. Like, what the actual heck happened in this book???

The Wicked King: A Book You Thought Was Better (Or Worse) Than The First In The Series

A Court Of Mist And Fury was WAY better than A Court Of Thorns And Roses. Chapter 54 and 55 is all I have to say!!!

The Queen Of Nothing: A Book You’re Excited For, But Know Nothing About

The Wicked Saints. I’m choosing to know nothing about this book because I want to go into this book completely blind. I feel like this book is going to be amazing!!
