Book Blogger Insider // Book Tag!

Happy Friday everyone! I’m currently trying to make sure I stay active on my blog because I seem to love it more than all of my other social media right now. I like talking and I love talking with you guys. I also prefer doing things on my computer instead of my phone. *cough cough* Instagram *cough cough*

I decided to do a book tag today. It’s an easy tag. It’s not necessarily a “book” tag but more of a tag about myself. So now’s your chance to get to know me! (Even though you probably don’t care)

Where do you typically write you blog posts?

I write them at my computer in my living room. I used to have it in my room but I felt like I was “working” where I slept and it just made my sleeping space feel a bit stressed. I definitely prefer the living room.

How long do it generally take you to write a book review?

It varies. Sometimes, I can type it out so fast and have it posted within 30 minutes. If I don’t know how I really feel about a book, it can take a while. (I also get distracted with social media, but we’re not talking about that)

When did you start your book blog?

I started my old blog back in 2016. I’ve switched around for a while and finally found my blogging home. I’m hoping to be here for a long while.

What is the worst part about having a book blog in your opinion?

It can be time consuming. Posts don’t just write themselves! I just really feel like it takes time away from reading. I don’t mind it, though. I love blogging as much as I love reading.

What is the best part about having a book blog in your opinion?

Getting to share my love of books with people who also love books. It’s amazing to meet so many online friends who share the same passion as me.

What blog post have you had the most fun writing so far?

I’m just going to use my new posts from my new blog. No need to backtrack. I would have to say The Folk Of The Air Book Tag. I literally just did this tag the other day and I really enjoyed it.

What is your favorite type of blog post to write?

Book reviews. They’re my least viewed posts but that’s fine with me. I just love expressing my feelings about books.

When do you typically write?

Anytime I get a chance. I’m a mom, wife, and I work full-time. Once I get a spare minute, I write!

Do you review every book you read?

I do. I don’t know why I do, but I do. I know I’m not going to stop anytime in the future. I just love writing reviews!

How do you write your book reviews? With a cup of coffee or tea? With Netflix? Cuddled with your fur baby?

This is something that depends on what time of the day I’m writing. If it’s first thing in the morning, I will most definitely have a cup of coffee and have some calming acoustic music playing. If it’s any other time of day, I’ll have a Dr. Pepper and have pop music playing.

When do you write your book reviews? Right after finishing the book? Two weeks after finishing the book?

I try to always do it as soon as I finish the book so it’s still fresh in my mind. I think the longest time period between finishing a book and writing the review is about 24 hours. I like to get it done ASAP!

How often do you post?

Not as often as I would like. I’m working on it though!

Tag! You’re It!

I’m tagging all of you lovely people who have a book blog šŸ™‚

I’m impressed you like writing book reviews so much, I’m excited to see them on my feed! I’m so bad at keeping up to date with reviews but I always try and incorporate specific review copies into a post so I don’t feel too bad. Lately instead of reviewing Sherwood like I should have, I drafted out a TOP 10 FAVOURITE RETELLINGS post. I’m hoping the publisher won’t mind!! I should still write a review though…. HOW DO YOU DO IT? WHAT MAGICAL POWERS DO I NEED TO UNLOCK??
