    October 2018 Book Haul:

This haul has to be the smallest I’ve ever done. But this is how I want my hauls to look. At least until I get my TBR down by a lot. I only purchased one book this month and I’m pretty sure you can guess which one that was. I was kindly sent The Last Wish Of Sasha Cade by the author, Cheyanne Young. I’m really intrigued with this book that I know may break my heart. Kingdom of Ash is my most anticipated book of 2018. I didn’t start reading this series until about April of this year and this series has made it to my favorites list. I…

    October 2018 Wrap-Up:

October was a really good reading month for me. I’m really proud of what I accomplished. It took me a while to power through Tower of Dawn and I started reading Kingdom of Ash. Two big fantasy books that take up a lot of time. I can already tell that November is going to be a slow reading month for me. Goodbye Days had to be my favorite October read. It just hit home and destroyed my heart a little bit. Tower of Dawn had to be my least favorite. I didn’t care for Chaol’s story too much. This book didn’t change my opinion of him. What books did you…

Would You Rather… Spooky Edition. Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween everyone! Here’s a nice little spooky post for the day. I can’t believe it’s already Halloween. Thanksgiving and Christmas is right around the corner. I’m too excited for the holidays and I’m wanting them to hurry up and get here! With all that being said, let’s get into these spooky would you rathers!______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Thrillers or Supernatural(s): Ugh… I guess this really just depends on my mood. Some days I really like things that put that thrill in me and some days I like things like The Vampire Diaries where there’s a lot of supernatural things. Ummmmm. I’m just going to go with supernatural. I watch/read more with supernatural…

Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Need To Read Before 2018 Ends

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ This weeks topic was a Halloween/Creepy freebie. Well, I have a Halloween-type post that I have scheduled for tomorrow so I’ve decided to stray away from the creepy vibes. There are many books I need to read before this year is done with so I thought I would share with you guys! I know there’s no way in hell I’ll be able to…

Book Review: Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas

Synopsis:Chaol Westfall has always defined himself by his unwavering loyalty, his strength, and his position as the Captain of the Guard. But all of that has changed since the glass castle shattered, since his men were slaughtered, since the King of Adarlan spared him from a killing blow, but left his body broken. His only shot at recovery lies with the legendary healers of the Torre Cesme in Antica—the stronghold of the southern continent’s mighty empire. And with war looming over Dorian and Aelin back home, their survival might lie with Chaol and Nesryn convincing its rulers to ally with them. But what they discover in Antica will change them…

Top Five Tuesday: Top 5 Books With Magic

Happy Birthday to me! Today I am celebrating my 25th year of life. I was very kindly given the day off. I thought I was going to be able to spend my day reading Kingdom of Ash, but that unfortunately isn’t happening until maybe later this week. With that being said, my progress with Tower of Dawn isn’t going so well. I really cannot get into this book! I hate Chaol so much! I’m going to try and power through most of it today. I’m about 41% through it right now. Maybe I can finish by the time I’m able to buy KoA. Let’s just hop right into the top…

    My Kingdom of Ash Predictions:

I really want to make a post about what I think is going to happen in Kingdom of Ash. I’m too excited for this book and I’m dying to see what happens. I’m just, UGH! I really need this book in my hands and I probably won’t get it until Friday. It’s not fair. With that being said, I’m going to share with you guys my predictions for Kingdom of Ash. Of course, feel free to share your predictions in the comments! Keep in mind, I’m still reading Tower of Dawn and so none of these predictions are going to involve anything that happens in that book. Dorian is a…
